I am a FAG… Hear me ROAR!

The Bahraini culture sure has changed over the years, people are starting to get more open minded, about many things, from the way they think to the way they dress. Girls are wearing shorter clothes. Even the ones with “hijab” are wearing really tight clothes. Filth is being spread all around. And a lot of other bullshit that’s spreading in our streets.

But today’s subject is rather sensitive (to some). Homosexuality, yes, most people try to ignore it but it's there, and it’s getting more in-your-face each and every day and more than ever before.

I think the origin of homosexuality starts from school days, seriously. By separating the boys from the girls, the connection between same gender people increases during a child’s early age. Where the bathrooms in public schools are nothing but crime scenes for mass child rapes, and sadly by other fellow students!

Apparently, most children are brought up thinking that it’s ok to fuck other guys (since they grow up in an all boys school with no females in sight). And if you happen to live in madeena*, I’m sorry, but you probably were a victim of child rape. But just like other kids, you are taught to “walk it off” as if nothing happened. I still remember the early days of school (and I thank God everyday that I managed to finish school without any rape incidents), a lot of kids had what they call as “el walad”** which is basically what they called their fuck buddy, and it was usually the bigger kids and bullies who had those, and in exchange for blowjobs, they protect them from other kids (yes I know this sounds really sick but trust me I’m not making any of this up). So apparently, it was a macho thing, having a bunch of kids to fuck made you superior amongst others. And every other kid grew up to think that this was just something normal. So if any Bahraini male watches the TV series “OZ”***, they would actually laugh at the fact that prisoners are being raped, rather than get shocked and terrified, because that how it is every single day at school!!

Even when these kids grew up, they still loved to fuck guys every now and then. Well actually they fuck anything that walks. And sometimes that’s not even necessary, even a hole in a wall would do. So imagine you being a rape victim, and you're all grown up, then one day you go to work and realize that your co-worker was your fuck buddy at school? (I’ve actually heard this story from someone, and the following example as well), or even worse, imagine that you go and propose to a girl, only to find out that her brother fucked you when you were a kid!!!

It sickens me to my stomach what these kids do, I mean I know you’re brought up in a public school with boys all around, but you’re not in prison!! Why don’t you go and find a slut to fuck! Seriously, get a girlfriend, or even simply jack off, but why sink yourself to this level and fuck your friend in the ass!!!

And what really irritates me, is that if you go to any one of these so called macho fucks, and confront him with the truth, they would proudly say “Yes, I fucked the shit outta him”. But if you tell him that now you're considered “gay” or a “Homosexual”, he’ll try to kick your ass!!! NEWS FLASH YOU MORONS, fucking other guys makes you GAY. You are GAY, whether fucked or got fucked. It does not make you a macho man, fucking freaks.

And from another perspective, we have the other more “feminine” homosexuals, these actually were all living in the dark for many many years, until recently, society seems to have accepted them to run around in public wearing makeup and shit, some of them even become fashion designers, hair dressers, and wedding planners (true).

Why did it become all of a sudden OK for these fags to just roam around everywhere, hey, I don’t care whether you’re a fag or not, but whatever you do sexually, just leave it at home or in any other private place. Don’t fucking go public! I swear I asked a 10 year old about what they think of these Nancy boys. He told me they are GAY! Now, where would a 10 year old get an idea about homosexuality unless it was right there in his face? Even kids with down syndrome can spot a Nancy boy right away on the spot! Yes we should educate the kids about the dangers and immorality of homosexuality, but with these fucking TV shows like “Queer Eye for the Straight guy” and “TeleTubbies”, kids nowadays think it’s actually ok to be gay!

Getting back to the Bahrain scene. I remember in the early 90s, some clubs used to organize special “gay” nights, where every single fag in Bahrain used to go there, usually resulted in mass arrests by the police. So they moved that shit to more private locations. But nowadays, gay hang-outs are spreading. There are a lot of public coffee shops where gay people hang out. And in fact, I know of a certain coffee shop in Adliya where Lesbians hangout every single day!! Seriously! When did these lesbians become so open and free? Where are they’re parents? I swear you see these lesbians holding hands and cuddling and shit, and exchanging tongue action in the toilet. But how did all of this happen? And the sad part is “I always laugh at this”, you see towel heads that actually go to that coffee shop because it’s full of females, thinking they’re gonna score! HAHAHAHA what a bunch of morons!

Honestly, at the end of the day, I'm not trying to be racist or anything. I’m just saying that I know for a fact that these people are all around us. But please, stay out of my fucking face. I don’t wanna see a 40-year-old 3araboo towel head hitting on a Nancy boy, I wanna have dinner in peace.

Fuck this, I'll go watch Will and Grace...

*Madeena: Local term or slang for "Isa Town"
**Elwalad: Meaning "The Boy" or "The Son" a.k.a. sex buddy.
***OZ: not the wizard of oz you dimwits, but HBO's Violent TV Series about life in a US prison facility...

When I first moved to the Gulf, I was told that homosexuality was against the law. It was a crime you could be thrown i jail for. In fact, my first job in the gulf was replacing someone who was in jail for being gay(he pissed of somebody with some conections). I was realy surprised by how open these people were(are). I don't have anything against people being gay, it's their choice, but I do have a problem with the way it's flaunted. I can be thrown in jail for kissing my wife in public, but I can stick my tounge down some guys throat? What the fuck? What's the difference? I pick my wife up at the airport and give her a hug and a kiss and people come up to complain, but two boys are kissing in the coffee shop and no one says anything?

On the note about rape, it doesn't matter whether you rape a guy or a girl, you should be castrated and your victim should be able to wear your testicles as ear-rings! Imagine, you go to work wearing your bosses testis, that would show them. i don't think they would be bragging anymore. fuckers.

Finally, if you talk about people being gay, it's not racism. Gay people come from all races. Oh, and props to the O.Z. ref, probably the best tv series to come out of the good ol' god fearin' conservative bible thumpin' zenophobic U S of A

sorry, I dont' have a blog. I've done a few anon postings, but now i'll just sign JAMA to my posts

I have a problem with gay people! Yes, I am not that open minded like some people who posted primitively. I hate gay people both genders. Men and Women are made for each other FULL-STOP! I am trying to understand (sometimes) that there are some people cursed with the wrong hormones at times e.g. Men having more feminine hormones than the masculine and vice versa with women. But that still doesn't mean those people can kiss other men or women it is just wrong, wrong, WRONG MOTHERFUCKER. I hate Bush, but I do like him in one point, he hates gay people too.

I'm totally against rape, but it seems like you people are against lesbians, bisexuals and our fellow brothers, sisters and dogs of the pink way of life!

What is really sad is that your own country encourages this, not any of us expats or foreginers as you may think. Before we came to Bahrein or Dubai or Qatar as some may have it, we were put through a freaking love-Bahrein guide type of course where we are taught about the customs, language, traditions of Bahrein and the dress code here, ie- nothing above the knee and no clevage revealing tops, etc.

When we landed in Bahrein it was a different story, we'd see people, I mean arab people (no idea if they were Bahreini or other gulf nationals) wearing almost nothing or body-clinging ninja suits (extremely tight). We thought that was just the airport but we were wrong - it's everywhere, in our offices, in seef areas, at our kids' schools (however private those may be).

Am lesbian, and me and my partner, have been working in Bahrain for the past 2 months, we respect the country's customs as per our 'guidance course back in Canada' and out in public we do not wish to offend anyone and whatever we do is in the comfort of our home. But why do Bahreinis complain about lesbians, gays, bisexuals, etc. when their own country does not want to respect itself?

Any answers lib team?

thank you.
LF

PS: If you don't mind, we'd like email the answer back to our course instructor back in Canada so that it can be included in future classes.

i think gay people choose to be gay. they choose to have sex with other men but i don't think they actually like it. how can anyone like that? i read once some scientist say they born that way. how can be born to like other men? i don't care about science, i just want to feel right. Bahrain gov't should cane them too, like singapore or saudi arabia. they were born different than us straight people -- so that means we don't want to see them around. i don't want to ever see people around me who were born differently from me. i want to be in peace. gay people should just sit in jail their whole life. we should do that to everyone who we don't want to see. i don't care that gays don't hurt anyone. they are hurting my eyes to look at them. take them away please. maybe they can at least pretend to be straight. but feel sorry for a girl that ends up with one of them. i think we should execute gay people instead to prevent that. i read somewhere that 10% of population is gay. we should put all of them in jail forever. then i don't need to see them.

Being gay in Bahrain is fantastic because of the fact that as well as the usual 10%(?) of the population that are naturally gay (as in every other society), there are all these "straight" guys who fuck men as well - something we don't get in Europe any more (although it used to be the case in Portugal, Spain, Greece and Cyprus etc.)

The only problem is that if you want a loving and monogamous gay relationship, its difficult as most Bahrainis seem to be a bit screwed up when it comes to sex and love......

Can't help myself ..

This is fucking hilarious.. Typical of a group of pseudo-political-activists. It's funny how most of the time, people like you will concern yourselves with shit that will probably never affect your life.. How can you sit here and dictate what is moral and what is immoral. Who gave you the right? Someone's sexual preference should be their own "preference", it does not cause you any serious harm, then so be it.

This means you have the freedom to teach your kids your psychotic little ideological fuck-ups and make sure that they are concerned with the EVIL HOMOSEXUAL who wants to take over the world and destroy the very moral fabric of our "conservative and islamic" societies. But that is where it stops, you, yourself not society. Don't institutionalize discrimination and really just plain hate in society more than it is already.

Half the world is melting, the oceans are boiling, wars are all over the place, Africa is starving.

But fuck THAT

LETS STOP THESE TWO BOYS FROM KISSING..
cries the spoilt, intolerant, over-opinionated, egocentric, ignorant hypocrite ..

Keep it Up ~

i was born and brought up in kuwait but i'm an indian.nationality means a fuck to me cos arabs think they r a superior race just fallen and descended from heaven above.i was abused by my cousin and grew up being abused by many other people.i'm used to this kind of life.my religion christianity is at par with islam when it says that homosexuality is a crime.
stop thinking about countries and answer my question.did i choos to be what i'm? sorry, this is not the kind of life i wanted or even imagined even in my wildest dreams.when i llok at people around me,i feel bad because no matter wh t happen i will never be like them-straight.its too late for me now.i'm 19 years old and i'm just waiting to finish with my studies.beyond that i ve not imagined what my life would be like.
i'd probably commit suicide for all i know cos living in this dirty world does not fancy me at all.i think this is my punishment for being what i am.god hates me and does not want me to be happy.i envy all of u because u all lead such amazing lives and will get married and have the chance to build a home and ve kida and lead a wonderful family life.i will never have that chance ever.
being gay to me is not bad.people are gay because of three reasons.one, they choose this lifestyle to make money and earn a living because beyond the arab world having sex with one guy every night would cost them aound 25-30 dinars easily.secondly, they want it to be that way, they encourage such a lifestyle and choose it..thirldly, because they ve no choice and are forced into it by family meberas and friends at an ealy age....as far i am concerned,i belong to the third categoty.
one advie to all of u irrespective of ur sexual orientation and religion or nationality- try and understand the other person.it is easy to point fingers at someone else and bring out the mistakes.but it takes heart to understand the other person and to forgive them.

Problems like these aren't limited to the public schools. I used to study at Ibn Khuldoon National School, a private school, and homosexual acts, smoking, and drugs are a normal problem there (although the administration covers these problems up to keep the school's reputation) if you go to any one the bathrooms in break, it's normal to see 10-15 students smoking. It's also considered normal for male students to "nager" each other (stick their fingers into anothers ass cracks) in class and even occasionally in front of some teachers. It is also normal to see female students hug and fondle each other, or even squeeze each others breasts. According to my younger brother (who still studies there), these things are still happening, and are actually getting worse!
